Shopping List 9/30-10/6

Again, this shopping list is EVERYTHING from the menu and doesn’t include breakfast items, though that will be easy as our breakfasts are hardly intricate things. A bowl of cereal typically does it for us. Remember, lunches are generally planned as leftovers from previous dinners.

1/2 lb lean ground beef
1 finely chopped yellow onion
2 onions, chopped
1 bunch green onions
2 anaheim peppers, deseeded & finely chopped
6 medium tomatoes, diced
1/2 lb fresh broccoli
1 lb fresh baby spinach
1 bunch bok choy
12 oz. bag bean sprouts
1 lb mushrooms
6 medium carrots
1/3 cup fresh flat leaf parsley, chopped
2 cups chopped cilantro
1 inch fresh ginger
2 packages frozen spinach, thawed
15 white corn tortillas
2 (15 oz.) cans white beans
1 (28 0z.) can crushed tomatoes
12 uncooked lasagna noodles
Shells
8 oz. rice vermicelli noodles
1 can coconut milk
2 cups vegetable stock
1 Tbsp. turmeric
3 bay leaves (remove lower stem)
3 Tbsp. whole or ground coriander
3 Tbsp. cumin seed or ground cumin
2 tsp. ground ginger
1 to 3 tsp. chili flakes OR cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes
Pinch ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 1/2 tsp dried oregano
3/4 teaspoons dried basil
1 tsp. ground white pepper (or whole white peppercorns if you can find them)
crushed red pepper flakes, a sprinkle
4 tablespoon vegetable oil
7 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 teaspoons sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tsp chili garlic sauce (optional)
15 garlic cloves, minced
6 eggs
5 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup whipping cream
2 cups half-and-half cream
1 (8 ounce) slice feta cheese
3/4 lb muenster cheese, grated
1 cup fresh parmesan (to taste)
1 (15 oz.) container Ricotta cheese
2 1/4 cups freshly grated Mozarella cheese, divided
8 ounces grated sharp cheddar cheese
4 cups mexican blend cheese
